Who are these engagements suited for?
Primarily founder-led businesses, family-owned companies, and mid-sized organisations in Malaysia that are approaching a significant change — whether that's a leadership transition, a shift in market conditions, a period of rapid growth, or a slowdown that needs to be understood honestly. The engagements are designed for managing directors, CEOs, and senior leadership teams who benefit from a structured external conversation.
How do I know which engagement is right for us?
If you're unsure whether a longer engagement makes sense, the Direction Diagnostic is designed precisely for that moment — it's a one-week engagement that gives you and us a shared picture of the current situation. Many clients use it as a first step before deciding whether to proceed with the Workshop or the Plan Review. If you already have a clear question in mind, we can discuss the most suitable format in an initial call.
Are these engagements conducted in Bahasa Malaysia?
We work primarily in English, which is the language most Malaysian senior leadership teams use for strategic discussion. If your team prefers a bilingual session or specific elements in Bahasa Malaysia, please mention this when you enquire and we will discuss what's practical within the engagement format.
What happens after the engagement ends?
Each engagement has a defined close point, and the written deliverable is yours to use as you see fit. The Strategic Direction Workshop includes a follow-up call three weeks after delivery to discuss how early decisions are landing. Beyond that, there's no retainer structure — some clients return for a subsequent engagement months or a year later, and some don't. We don't pitch ongoing services at the close of an engagement.
How is pricing structured, and are the fees negotiable?
The fees listed — RM 580 for the Direction Diagnostic, RM 1,680 for the Annual Plan Review, and RM 2,850 for the Strategic Direction Workshop — are fixed for the standard scope of each engagement. They are not subject to negotiation, but we're transparent about exactly what is included. If your situation requires something different in scope, that would be discussed as a custom arrangement before any agreement is made.
How is confidentiality handled?
A mutual non-disclosure agreement is standard before any substantive conversation begins. What you share in the course of an engagement — about your team, your financials, your market position — does not leave the engagement. We do not publish case studies, do not reference client names in marketing materials, and do not discuss the specifics of any engagement with any third party.
